Professor Mohammad Yunus, Professor, and Dean, School of Business, University of Creative Technology, Chittagong was awarded Gold Medals all through his student life from SSC to masters in Business Administration for his outstanding results, schooling from Govt. Muslim High School Chittagong, Govt College of Commerce Chittagong and Honours and Masters from Dhaka University in 1970. Immediately after, he joined as lecturer Chittagong University in 1970 and worked there till 1977 as Assistant Professor of Management and House Tutor, Shahjalal Hall. Then he joined a government organization as a counterpart-manager of a World Bank Project, received AWWS (USA) scholarship for Ph.D. but failed to avail owing to serious illness of his father. He was also working as a consultant to SAMHO cooperation, Korea for 3 years. Then he joined Islamic University Gazipur (Government) as founder chairman of the Department of Management, worked there as a member of Finance Committee and was Provost of Hall of Residence till the University was situated at Board Bazar Gazipur as per condition of O.I.C which financed establishment of the only Government Islamic University in Bangladesh near Dhaka later it was shifted to Kushtia, Santidanga, Alamdanga O.I.C withdraw their recognition and then he joined University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) as Professor (CC) and Dean (CC) of the Faculty of Business Administration, USTC founded and headed by Founder Vice Chancellor, National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam. Professor Yunus was made syndicate member Academic committee and Finance Committee member of USTC and played a great role to develop & upgrade business education at Medical based USTC an excellent one. After serving USTC for about 7 years, then he joined IIUC as coordinator of Business education Kumira Permanent Campus and served there for 9 years and he resigned as Professor of Business Administration, IIUC and after taking release order joined UCTC as Professor and Dean School of Business and working now as acting Vice-Chancellor until a new Vice-Chancellor is appointed by the Govt of Bangladesh. He has published 15 research-oriented article in National and international recognized journals and is a freelance writer in newsmedia, especially English Daily. He took advanced management training in the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, India under the World Bank sponsorship. He visited Malaysia, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.
