Lecturer in Computer Network

Introducing Md Riyad Hossain, who has been an integral part of the CSE Department at University of Creative Technology Chittagong (UCTC) since September 2021 as a lecturer. With a passion for education and an interest in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), he has started his journey to the EEE department in January 2022. Serving as a full-time faculty member, imparting knowledge to students, and guiding them towards a successful career in this field. With an unwavering commitment to his profession, he seeks to constantly enhance his skills and knowledge, in order to keep pace with the current and future trends in the field of EEE. He believes that in order to excel in teaching, it is important to be constantly updated and well-versed in the latest technologies, so that his students can benefit from his expertise.
He strives to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience to his students and ensures that they receive the best possible education that they deserve.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India
For the academic year 2016-17, awarded ICCR scholarship (under the Ministry of External Affairs of the Indian Government) to study in India with full funding.

Research Projects and Awards

• Final year initiative that is part of the university's credit system which involves a potential attempt to
mitigate damage during fire incidents. The actual project is focused on drone operations. The drone
would be able to enter the area with an extinguisher that no firefighter could.
• Under the design engineering section of the university course, create a system that is the foundation
of farm protection for farmers.
• Create a device that allows for the low-cost implementation of an automated greenhouse
management system.
