A seminar titled “Development of Aptitude and Co-Curricular Activities” was successfully held at the University of Creative Technology Chattogram (UCTC) in the presence of eminent academician Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad. The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of academic aptitude and co-curricular activities in students’ overall development. It was organized by the UCTC Computer Club under the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, and was arranged for undergraduate students of the CSE and EEE departments. The keynote session was conducted by Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, former Head of the CSE Department, BUET. The program was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Sharif, Honorable Vice Chancellor of UCTC; Mohammad Osman, Founder and Secretary of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Registrar; Associate Professor Muhammad Abu Jabed, Head of the CSE Department; faculty coordinators of CSE and EEE, respected faculty members, officials, and students. During the seminar, students gained valuable insights into aptitude development, programming culture, research-oriented thinking, and the practical role of co-curricular activities in career building. The event generated great enthusiasm among students and reinforced the importance of balancing academic excellence with co-curricular engagement.
