Industrial Visit of CSE Department Held at UCTC
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of University of Creative Technology Chittagong (UCTC) organized an industrial visit with the participation of students from the 7th and 8th semesters.
As part of the visit, students explored the Institute of Information Technology and Business Incubator (ITBI) at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), where they gained practical knowledge about technological innovation, research activities, modern lab facilities, and the startup ecosystem. They also visited several startup organizations near ITBI.
The visit was attended by the Honorable Registrar of the University, Salauddin Ahmed, Associate Professor and Head of the CSE Department, Md. Abu Jabed, Director of Student Affairs, S. M. Shahidul Alam, CSE Department Coordinator Mohammad Nadib Hasan, along with other faculty members of the department.
The organizers stated that the main objective of the program was to provide students with real-life industry exposure alongside academic learning, helping them gain a better understanding of corporate culture, software industry activities, and future career opportunities. They also mentioned plans to arrange more such industrial visits, workshops, and industry-based training programs in the future.
