UCTC Organizes Workshop on “OBE for Academic Excellence”
The IQAC of the University of Creative Technology Chittagong (UCTC) successfully organized a comprehensive workshop titled “OBE for Academic Excellence: Aligning Vision, Mission, PEO, PLO and CLO” on September 3 at UCTC Campus.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mohammad Taher Hossain Salim, Associate Professor and Head of ELL and Director, IQAC, UCTC. Professor Md. Zahid Hossain Sharif, VC, UCTC, attended as the Chief Guest, while Salahuddin Ahmed, Registrar, UCTC, joined as the Special Guest. The session was conducted by Dr Mohammad Rahim Uddin, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Rangamati Science and Technology University, as the Resource Person. He highlighted the principles, strategic importance, and effective implementation of OBE in higher education.
Faculty members from the Departments of ELL, BBA, and Islamic Studies, especially Dr Md Abu Jahid (Associate Professor & Head of BBA) and Md. Obaidullah (Lecturer & Coordinator of Islamic Studies) participated in the workshop, which focused on strengthening the alignment of PEO, PLO, and CLO with UCTC’s vision and mission, enhancing curriculum development, teaching practices, assessment methods, and academic quality assurance. The event served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, academic dialogue, and faculty capacity building, supporting UCTC’s continuous commitment to academic excellence and quality enhancement.
